In a world where EVERYONE is an expert, I would like to introduce myself and let you know a little more about me. Children are my passion. I am a licensed minister, certified in Early Childhood Management, have a degree in Psychology and Sociology, and a Master's in Education. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Developmental Psychology.
I have said all of that to say that I have spent the last 10+ years in school and what I have come to find is that as parents and guardians, we can boost our child's ability to thrive in this world. I have learned small daily implementations that can break toxic family habits and nutrition that can positively affect conditions we carry as black and brown people and introduce you to the positive effects quality time can have on the entire family.
Information should be for the privileged and all who want it. In our authentic world, we barely have time to send the kids to school, pick them up, have dinner, support an outside activity, and then go to bed…. so how are we expected to research parenting information to grow and become a better parent? It's unrealistic to think we can do it all as parents.
